250+ YOUNG GIRLS & BOYS
We are breaking the culture of silence surrounding sexual assault, one school at a time with our Sawubona Sexual Assault Awareness Clubs!
In our pilot school, we have installed an extracurricular club to teach girls and boys of ages 8-18. As a part of this initiative, we are currently training over 250 students on various topics ranging from the fundamentals of body parts, identifying predators, as well as sexual coercion and consent.
Our goal is to establish Sexual Health and Assault Awareness Clubs in at least 2 schools in each of the 36 states in Nigeria (and beyond). Please recommend a primary or secondary school today and we will work to install a Sawubona Sexual Assault Awareness Club.
OVER ₦3MILLION RAISED TOWARDS SUSTAINING THE #ENDSARS MOVEMENT
In line with our dedication to alleviating various forms of suffering in Nigeria, Sawubona Foundation crowdsourced funds to support the #ENDSARS movement in Nigeria.
All donations were transferred directly to organizations across the country mobilizing capital and resources to provide medical assistance and legal services to protesters. This includes initiatives to provide ambulances, pay for hospital bills, transport lawyers to police stations across the country to free wrongly arrested protesters and provide food and drink to protesters.
